Crows

Like crows

we picked shiny things off the ground.

A crushed beer can.

A dime.

A rusty car emblem.

How did you spot them so easily,

Father,

with only one eye?

We collected broken things

that no one else wanted.

Said we’d fix them one day,

use them for something.

Two crows sit outside my window.

They caw at dawn

which lights my room

full of broken things.

A Light Caress of Insanity

The night comes at last.

Raining sky demons.

The clock rings.

The bell ticks.

Bat and mouse game.

Power.

Play.Game.

Knowledge.

Decrease happiness.

Steady madness.

Humming.

Constant chaos.

Looping.

How do you kill God?

Wait.No.

What am I?

Cautious Icarus.

Son of industry.

Promethean.

Humani Generis Amici.

Make him the devil.

Good mourning!

Time

I thought I saw you yesterday

but that was years ago.

It was my mistake in thinking

that time was going slow.

I thought of calling you today

but we’re strangers now, you see.

I’m sure you’ve changed a lot

and I’m not as I used to be.
